Grace Hotel
The Grace Hotel, Sydney is a heritage listed Neo
Gothic hotel which was originally built in 1930 as the
Grace Brothers department store headquarters.
The building was taken over by General Douglas MacArthur
during WWII, and continued to be used for government
administration until it was lovingly restored during the 1990s.
It opened as the Grace Hotel in 1997, offering 382 guest rooms
spread out over 11 floors.
It is in York Street, Sydney, which places the Grace Hotel
in the heart of Sydney's business, financial and shopping
district.
The Grace Hotel has the Grace Brasserie restaurant on Level
2 which provides a hot and cold buffet lunch that's popular
with local businessmen, the Grace Cafe on the ground floor and
the Bar77Grace on the mezzanine floor where you can chill out
with a refereshing beverage.
